This months Melbourne Bride

David and Bridie appear in this months Melbourne Bride. The gardens of Tieve Tara look gorgeous, as does the Lavender field in the gardens of Sault restaurant. As David is one of the chefs at Lakehouse in Daylesford, I'll see you soon when I do my next wedding there in a couple of weeks!

Kylie & David's Wedding

The wedding of Kylie and David was held at Melbourne Hebrew Congregation - Synagogue.
It was a very hot day, so it was lovely to end up at Sandringham yacht club by the cool ocean.
A very classy couple, and lots of love and laughs throughout the day with their great bridal party, friends and family.
Congratulations, Kylie and David

Georgia & Matt's Wedding

We had a fun-filled day on Saturday with the wedding of Georgia & Matt, with the ceremony at St George's Anglican Church in Queenscliff. Then we travelled with Geelong Wedding Cars, between Point Lonsdale Yacht Club, Point Lonsdale Lighthouse and Barwon Heads where the reception was held “At the Heads” restaurant. The magnificent Buick from Geelong Wedding Cars really enhanced the mood.

Zoe & Andrew's Wedding

A truely "Melbourne" evening for Zoe and Andrew who chose the Atheneum Club for their ceremony, which allowed a sophisticated game of pool, and a relaxing moment by the club's basement swimming pool. Church Street Enoteca was the perfect venue for their reception, speeches and dancing. Photography by http://imageeight.com.au

Melbourne Bride real life weddings Magazine winter 2011

Congratulations to Orlando and Karen whose wedding was selected by Melbourne Bride magazine for publication in their latest issue. I got to know Karen and Orlando doubly well, as we photographed their actual wedding in a downpour, so rescheduled a few days later to take some more shots- this time in glorious sunshine! I'm really glad we went for a reshoot! Not many people get to frock up twice, and it was great fun to traipse through the city with an ultra relaxed bride and groom!

Elysha & Wil's Wedding

What an amazing time for a wedding! Stones of the Yarra Valley was in its finest form with a natural backdrop of full Autumn colours.
There was a lotta love in the room for Elysha and Wil in Stones' Chapel in Coldstream, Yarra Valley, including a surprise serenade from a hidden band for Elysha. What a romantic groom! He's off to a good start!
Smiles all round as they progressed to their tea ceremony held in the newly renovated stables and reception in the amazing Barn.
Vonnie and Steve ran a fabulous event for Elysha and Wil and all their family and guests. It was a really special day, and I truly  enjoyed being a part of it. Thanks for choosing Image Eight for your photography. Hope you enjoy all your images.

Ilona & Chris' Wedding

I met Ilona and Chris photographing Ilona's brother's wedding. I was so pleased to be awarded the chance to spend another day of celebrations with this fabulous family.
Ilona and Chris were married at Quat Quatta, Ripponlea, Melbourne.
What a stunningly beautiful couple, with Chris wearing the sharpest suit I've seen in a long time!
A modern Jewish wedding held under the Chuppah in the gardens of Quat Quatta.
The reception followed straight on from the ceremony, so we photographed the Bridal party and families in the beautiful grounds of Quat Quatta.
Illona and Chris' guests were treated to a fantastic party and celebration of their marriage. I am getting to love the Hora and the amazing atmosphere that is created when the Bride and Groom are soaring above their guests on chairs. It so much fun, and a true wedding celebration.
At their request, I stayed the whole evening and had the pleasure of "leaving" with the Bride and Groom to accompany them into the City where we had the chance to photograph them with the cityscape of the Docklands. It was great to have the couple all to myself and watch them unwind and reflect on their day.
